This is a children’s book of an endearing look at friendship and its heartfelt meaning between a POODLE and a HORSE. Nicole and Bren, each having three kids all close in age, wrote this book in the midst of raising them in the small town of Gunnison, Colorado. Both worked and attended Western State College.

It is a captivating, silly, exciting, funny, moment of sadness-kind of tale involving trust and the recurring instances that happen and are relevant to life.

The index of paintings per page adds to the sophistication of the book. Engaging illustrations in black and white are superimposed on top of the intricate paintings. Wackdoodle the Poodle meshes art with innocence, sophistication with simplicity, and adults with children in an engaging way.
