This endearing narrative explores the profound significance of friendship between a Poodle and a Horse. Nicole and Bren, both raising three children of similar ages in the quaint town of Gunnison, Colorado, crafted this book during their parenting journey. Both individuals held positions in the valley and graduated from Western State College.

The book presents a whimsical and playful tale infused with a subtle sense of melancholy, delving into the themes of trust and the recurring moments of life. The narrative is complemented by black-and-white illustrations superimposed over contemporary paintings by Bren Corn, which contribute to the deliberate lightness of the work.

The inclusion of an index of paintings enhances the book’s sophistication, while advanced vocabulary encourages curiosity, conversation, and learning through exploration.

Wackadoodle the Poodle skillfully intertwines art with innocence, sophistication with simplicity, and adults with children, creating an engaging and captivating experience.
