About Bren Corn
People’s Choice Award Winner: Best Artist of 2020 and 2022
This painter embodies the American spirit while drawing inspiration from her European heritage. Her energy remains focused and progressive, making her an infectious artist. Her drive encompasses various components and moods, but abstracting life from her environment remains a constant. She is a grounded individual who is respectful of and loyal to her personal beliefs. This awareness translates into a profound understanding of herself, ultimately defining her style of evolving work.
Corns’ current compilations are juxtaposed compositions of the picturesque mountain town of Crested Butte, Colorado. In the meantime, she travels to exquisite cities, commissions intricate paintings, and interprets current events and places from around the globe.
Bren has resided in the Gunnison Valley for over three decades, raising her three children. Additionally, she has two grandchildren who reside in this same picturesque valley.
Initiatives to be undertaken
There is a mission to establish an animal sanctuary to provide refuge for vulnerable and abandoned animals. How can I contribute to this cause? The initial step involves promoting the children’s books that my friend Nicole and I created in 2006. We have finally printed these books in 2024 and aspire for them to be discovered for an animated film or screenplay adaptation. If anyone possesses knowledge of how to connect with film companies, kindly share this book with them. While we acknowledge the challenges, we remain optimistic about the possibility of success. The first edition of the book, exclusively numbered 1 through 100, has already sold out. However, we have additional copies available. The title of the book is “Wackadoodle the Poodle.”
